Xanten

For the LVR-Archaeological Park Xanten and LVR-RömerMuseum project from 2014 to 2016, we created a comprehensive six-part virtual reconstruction of the ancient Roman city Colonia Ulpia Traiana (CUT). We specifically reconstructed key sites such as the Forum, the large town baths, and the harbor, illustrating the architectural grandeur and daily life of the Romans.

Our work included detailed 3D models and cinematic sequences shown on large screens in the museum’s permanent exhibition, offering a bird’s-eye view of the city and allowing viewers to explore the interior and exterior of significant buildings. This project enabled visitors to understand the urban layout and the monumental scale of the Roman city, enhancing their educational experience through digital media.
